Sara Davis grew up in Oceanside, California, with her father Ron and her mother, Tracey. It’s not hard to believe she’s the baby of the family. Sara has two older brothers, Tony and Ryan. She was your classic SoCal kid riding her bike to the beach and hanging out with friends. By her teen years she was an El Camino high school cheerleader and voted “Most Spirited” (once again, not hard to believe.) After graduating, Sara moved abroad exploring Europe and setting up home base in Spain. Sara truly has a thirst for adventure. By 27 she has traveled to Europe, Asia, South America and the Middle East. A couple years back, she set a goal to see the seven wonders of the world by the age of 30 and I can guarantee the adventures will not stop there.
When Sara is not planning her next trip, she is working at Cal State University San Marcos helping students forge new paths and careers. She cares deeply for these students seeing them not as ID numbers, but people. If that’s not enough to keep her occupied, she is also a full time student of the Social Sciences and on her way to becoming the first in her family to earn a bachelor’s degree. Sara is truly a student of the world. Always reading. Always learning. Always growing.
It’s hard to describe Sara. Beautiful, adventurous, intelligent… those are all true, but no adjective seems to hold up. There are so many reasons I fell in love with Sara, but what is most intoxicating is her love for people. She genuinely cares about people. Once you realize that, the most popular kid in school, and the woman with too many friends to count, makes a lot more sense.
Sara has two speeds. Fun and Sleep. And I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life trying to keep up.
